I received a call for Premium Circle program few months ago from HSBC Bank in association with Plat5.
They offered a package for vacation with some additional benefits. I told them that it is difficult to take decision over a phone call & how I can trust that the call is from the bank itself so the agent told me that I can go through the HSBC website & all the details for the program are listed out there. I told him to give me a callback in few days time so that I can check.
Thought they would forget & let it go I didn't check the website, but they contacted me again. The offers were quite lucrative so I decided to go through the website & asked for the callback again.
While going through the T&C's of the offer I found that they are not very customer friendly as most of the T&C's of any program offered through the bank are... I being from the banking industry know this that the bank never provides the services for any product which is being offered to its credit card customers & its through some service provider they offer such packages. These service providers like banks are specialized in their field & cater to many companies.
HSBC if connecting with any such provider I was sure that they will be careful enough to choose one & the services rendered by them will be good.I received the call again & opted for the offer.
I got 5 % cash back on my credit card for 2 months which was limited to Rs 500 but then something is better than nothing...
Also, they have given pretty good options to go for holiday which I am planning to go in near future.
I am glad that I took this offer from HSBC & PLAT5 which is the service provider.
I am hoping that in future they will together provide such unique programs.
